Landon Speakman

A native of Auburn, Landon graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in New York with a BS in Maritime Logistics and a US Coast Guard Unlimited License. Landon has worked in the global subsea telecom industry, installing and repairing subsea fiber optic cables working in multiple capacities: safety officer, navigating officer, and project manager. In addition to Landon's work in the private sector, he is a LT in the US Navy Reserve. Landon has observed that one of the number one culprits of fires aboard ships is clogged dryer lint and he knows this risk crosses over to residential homes. He is eager to help mitigate the risks of fire and help dryers run more efficiently for friends and neighbors in his community. In Landon's free time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, water skiing at Lake Martin, traveling, watching Auburn football and basketball, restoring furniture, DIY/home improvement projects, working in the yard, being involved at his church, admiring maps/charts, and tending to his blueberry bushes. This venture started when Landon needed dryer vent cleaning services for some rental properties and saw the extremely high prices. He recognized a need in the market, learned the skill himself, and decided he could provide services that were just as thorough while remaining affordable. By maintaining low overhead and cutting out the middleman through direct owner-to-customer relationships, he is able to deliver friendly and affordable service.
